How much is delivery?
We strive to make our online ordering process as simple as possible. That is why we have introduced a set shipping cost of £3.95 per order no matter how many items you order from us. This shipping cost applies to UK mainland customers only.
What if I live outside Mainland UK?
If you live outside the UK, please contact us at sales[@]thepetextraordinarium.co.uk with details prior to purchasing and we will inform you of delivery rates. As a guide, small items such as cat collars can normally be delivered within our standard delivery rates, and we can deliver anything with a total basket weight of less then 2kg. Please note that if you live outside the EU, you may have to pay tax or import duty imposed by your country's customs office. Any such charges are your responsibility and The Pet Extraordinarium will not be held liable for these.
How long will it take?
We aim to keep a constant stock of all products and try to despatch items within 24 hours of an order being placed. When you place an order, we will send you a confirmation email as soon as possible telling you when to expect your delivery and if, due to unforeseen demand an item is out of stock, we will give you an estimated delivery date based on availability from the relevant manufacturer. This will normally be within 7 days. However, please allow up to 30 days for delivery of out of stock items. Please note that some of our products are custom-ordered and/or hand-made and, in this instance, please allow the delivery times indicated at the time of your purchase.
How will my items be delivered?
Depending on the size, weight and value of the item(s), your order will be despatched either by Royal Mail or by the UK Mail courier service. A signature may be required. Overseas orders are delivered by AirMail.
Please ensure all delivery instructions are clear. If you request that your the parcel be left somewhere, you must ensure the location is safe, secure and dry. Neither The Pet Extraordinarium or our couriers will be held liable for any parcel which has been delivered as instructed and then lost, damaged or stolen.
Can I get my order fast-tracked?
We always try to get items to your doorstep as quickly as possible. However, if you would like a guaranteed next day service, please complete the 'delivery instructions' box at the checkout when you place your order and we'll do our very best to help out. The fast-track service is dependent on product availability and address, and may incur additional P&P charges, which you will be informed of before we process your order.
